I am probably going to “ruffle some feathers” with this post. May I ask you a question? Where do you go for advice, recommendations, and wisdom?
Do you watch the Main Stream Media for real news and facts? Do you seek truth, or put your mind on auto-pilot while you sit in front of your TV, laptop, or smartphone?
Who is your Preacher? Is your Pastor’s messages biblically aligned, or more slanted with opinion or theatrics?
How about the people in your life? How about your closest 5 friends? Do you truly know them, who they are, what they are about and to whom they serve? Did you know experts say that you become the average of your 5 closest friends. Should you not, then, be choosing wisely?
I have been a man whom has thirsted after knowledge for as long as I can remember. I love learning, obtaining knowledge, and expanding my understanding. I even have a saying when people ask me, “How are you?” My often reply is, “Learning and serving.” Because I believe if you are not learning and serving, you are not truly living.
But where do I go for knowledge, and wisdom? Sound advice, and honest recommendations? Who is it that I serve and why? I am a seeker of truth. Fact over fiction. Things that can be verified and validated. I do not accept or take advice, recommendations from fools, fake “friends”, nor leaders, teachers or preachers that do not align with the bible.
If I want to enhance my health, and increase my physical strength, I do not go to an obese person that rarely leaves their couch.
I do not absorb Godly wisdom from a Pastor or Preacher that is contrary 6 days a week than he is on Sunday, and neither quotes scripture from the bible, or his words are not aligned with the Word of God.
My body, soul, and mind cannot follow a leader that is not courageous, and walks the walk that he talks. Eagles cannot grow, mature, and don’t take flight lessons from chickens.
What say you?
